Image Capture
Using our best-in-class high volume scanners,
we have the capacity to process over 13
million images per month per facility, with
the capability to scale higher as necessary.
Neubus’ scanners can capture images
from a huge range of originals, including
photos, Post-It® notes, envelopes, onionskin
or colored paper, all with the same clarity
as standard paper. Our technology automatically
maintains optimal image quality across all
images and ensures that scanned images are
as clear and easy to read as the original
printed documents.
We also offer conversion from microfilm/microfiche to digital images, using the highest quality film scanners available on the market.
Indexing and Quality Assurance
As soon as documents are imaged, they enter
Neubus’ world-class document indexing
and validation system. We recognize that
for effective retrieval, it is essential
that your employees and constituents be
able to locate any and all records quickly
and easily. Therefore during our pre-production
stages we work with your team to help determine
how information will be searched for and
retrieved. We then apply the most effective and logical indexing
scheme for your set of documents.
Our fully automated, state of the art environment relies on a combination of internally developed technology and industry standard platforms, enabling us to achieve unmatched levels of efficiency. Packaging & Delivery
Once document image and index files have completed
Neubus’ rigorous validation tests, they are
packaged and prepared for delivery. In a series
of final quality assurance steps, Neubus ensures
that data integrity and consistency is maintained
as files are transferred to the client’s system.
Neubus’ solutions are based on completely open standards. While the majority
of our clients have chosen to receive their index
and image files in tiff format, we can also provide
these same files in other standard formats such
as pdf or jpeg.
Neubus provides a wide range
of physical and electronic media distribution
options. Files can be delivered to clients on
CDs, DVDs, tape, portable hard drive, or by ftp
transfer. Neubus also offers Electronic Service
Delivery (ESD), enabling our clients to receive
image files, index files and database updates
in real-time across the Internet. Using ESD, files
are instantly and effortlessly integrated into
your existing systems and databases, giving users
immediate access to information. ESD also enables
multiple users to view the same or different images
from any location, 24 hours a day, 7 days per
week.
